QUILT SHOW 2012 “ Remembrance of Times Past”
Quilt Show 2012 will be presented on February 10 and 11, 2012 at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 1607 Baker Court, Panama City, Fl. from 9:00 – 4:00 each day. The event showcases quilts made by members of St. Andrew Bay Quilters’ Guild. It is a judged show with ribbons awarded in the various categories. In addition to the ribbons for each category, there will be awards for Hand Quilting Excellence, Machine Quilting Excellence and Best Theme. The Judge gets to pick her favorite for Judge’s Choice Award and the visitors get to vote for Viewer’s Choice. This year’s show is being judged by Carol Larimer, a NQA Certified Quilt Judge, from New Bern, North Carolina. Our beautiful ribbons have been made by Guild members. Our beautiful Opportunity Quilt will be displayed and tickets on this quilt will be sold. There will be a Silent Auction of beautiful handmade items, as well as, our perennial favorite raffle baskets chock full of quilt related items. Don’t forget to also visit our Quilt Shop which also features handmade items, as well as, pinwheel blocks ready for you to assemble into quilts.

We meet monthly at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, on Beach Drive, in Panama City, Florida and you’re welcome to come by and join us (view meeting location map). The coffee pot is always on and there’s plenty of ice for the tea. Click here for calendar. |
