Comfort Quilts – Be a Star
After contacting all the recipient organizations of the comfort quilts, I was reassured that each and every one of them would be very appreciative of any quilts we can provide. I received wonderful comments about the quilts we have given thus far and have realized that we certainly do fill a need in our community.
With this in mind, we would like to start an incentive program for turning in comfort quilts. Since our recipients feel that we are a star organization, we are going to be giving the donors a star to let everyone know just what we are doing. When you donate a quilt, you will be given a pin and will receive a star to hang on this pin. We have several colors of stars for you to choose from. These pins can be attached to your name tag so all will be able to see the progress we are making.
I would like to encourage you to make a comfort quilt and be a star. If only you could hear the compliments our group receives. I would also like to encourage the bees to make a few quilts as a workday. It would be a great way to spend the day and would generate comforting results.
