REFLECTIONS ON THE QUILT SHOW
Thanks go out to the many people who made the show possible and to the many people who entered quilts into the show. Without you there would have been no show. We have many things to be proud of...the proof of the talent within our group was to be seen on the walls and the spirit of giving was evident in the members of our Guild who worked on the show. Our judge was very impressed and said so many times throughout the judging process. We see each other’s quilts at Show and Tell, but they look so much different when hanging in a show. The different ways we express ourselves through our quilts is always amazing. The fact that many people came to see the show on a cold, rainy Friday is a testament to the fact that people always enjoy looking at quilts. So keep on quilting...you inspire others to quilt and you comfort others with your gifts of quilts. We had a beautiful quilt to raffle. Many people wanted it but the winner was Jane Cederholm. She was thrilled and raced to the church in order to pick it up.
